The finish changes how your colours read and how the sticker feels in the hand.

Gloss

Gloss is our brightest, boldest finish. The smooth, high-shine surface makes printed colour read more saturated. If your brand runs on strong colour, illustrated artwork or anything that needs to be seen from across a room, gloss vinyl stickers are the way to go. Gloss, matte and clear all print on the same 2 to 3 year vinyl, with the same strong adhesive, so the choice is purely about the look you want.

Matte

Matte is the quiet, premium option. Instead of reflecting light, the surface scatters it, which kills glare completely and gives each sticker a soft, smooth, almost paper-like feel in the hand. This is the finish to choose when your design carries a QR code: no shine means a clean, reliable scan from any angle, under any lighting. Most matte stock takes an ordinary pen too, so you can write batch dates or a customer name straight onto the sticker. Popular for premium packaging, candle and jar labels.

Clear

Clear vinyl gives you the transparent, no-label look: your design appears to sit directly on the glass, bottle or box, making it perfect for any product where you want the customer to see what is inside. Every colour prints translucent rather than opaque, so the surface behind the sticker shows through. Clear works brilliantly when you design for it. Use bold, dark, saturated colours, keep text a decent weight, and treat the product surface as part of the design. Avoid pale tints, white text and light pastels.

Please note: our printer prints in CMYK and has no white ink, so any white in your design will print as clear.
